For more than ten years, I served as a professor of cardiology at major university hospitals, where I witnessed firsthand how deeply heart health affects every aspect of life. At Seoul National University Hospital and Asan Medical Center, I treated a wide range of cardiovascular diseases, including arrhythmia, always striving to provide patients with fast, accurate, and dedicated care.

However, in the university hospital system, I often met patients only after their conditions had already worsened. The structure of care meant treatment frequently began late in the course of illness, and there was limited opportunity to fully address patients’ anxieties and concerns.

In particular, arrhythmia requires timely diagnosis and treatment. Yet I saw many patients enduring long waiting times, uncertainty, and the challenge of receiving only a brief consultation. While the university hospital system is highly systematic, it can fall short in offering enough time for individual conversations and in supporting patients’ overall quality of life.

With this clinic, I wish to meet patients more closely and more personally. My goal is not only to treat disease but also to ease your worries, to communicate fully, and to work together to find the best path forward.
